Summer is Leaving Surely…..
Posted on August 25, 2010 · Leave a CommentWe’ve had some of the hottest days this year, but I must admit, I’ve really enjoyed it! And as September creeps in, I can’t help but look back on everything I’ve done this summer. Surprisingly, I didn’t incorporate a big vacation into the plans this year; as a matter of fact, it’s been the “little things” that have made my summer one of the best!
With that said, what have you done at Spanish Fort Town Center this summer? Did you give your room a makeover? Did you add more colors into your wardrobe? Have you been to any concerts along the gulf (there have been plenty of those!)?
There are other things that really make summertime a special time, like:
- Making fresh lemonade.
- Eating watermelon.
- Taking a swim at the pool.
- Barbecues!!!
- Summer holidays and festivals (Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc.)
- Beautiful flowers.
These are a few of mine.
What will you miss about summer?

Fishing Water Reopens!!!
Posted on August 18, 2010 · Leave a CommentSpanish Fort residents can now enjoy the beauty of fresh water foods; fishermen can get back to doing what they love, too.
When I was younger, my dad use to take me fishing with him. He was a shrimp lover, so we would always head down to Fort Morgan Peninsula; there, he would catch all the shrimp he could to sell. But there never seemed to be any fun in catching shrimp. Later, we would come back and would stop again; only this time, we would be fishing. Normally, I’d catch at least one!
But I’m definitely glad that the land is being restored! It’s not completely, but it’s a step toward perfection again!
Are you ready for delicious shrimp and fish again?

It’s RealSimple. Show Us Your Mess.
Posted on August 9, 2010 · Leave a CommentRealsimple.com is throwing a contest!
Now I know that you would normally hide a mess from guests, but you might want to show it off this time. All you have to do is email them letting them know which area of your place is the most messiest and why. Then send a couple of photos in. If your place is selected, you’ll get a room makeover that will be featured in the next issue of Real Simple magazine!
You can visit the site for details. If there was one room in my home that I would give the “messy award,” it would definitely be my bedroom. If I clean it today, I guarantee it’ll be untidy again in two days! Could it be because I’m in a rush in the morning time for work? Hmmm…..
Good luck! And if you’re chosen, be sure to let your friends at the Spanish Fort office know so we can congratulate you!

Then, I’ll add dance classes into my exercising regimen. So that’s two days of dance lessons, and 3 days at Spanish Fort Apartments‘ fitness center.
